What is Ausbildung?
Ausbildung is Germany's dual vocational training system: you split your time between a vocational school and a company that pays you a monthly salary. After 2–3.5 years you graduate with a recognised qualification and, usually, a job offer from your training company.
- Fields: nursing, IT, hotel management, mechatronics, logistics, retail and more
- Salary during training: €900–€1,400 per month
- Requirement: 12th pass + German B1/B2
- Leads to full-time employment and later PR

Career & PR Pathway
A German degree comes with an 18-month post-study job-seeker visa. Once you find qualified work you can switch to an EU Blue Card, and later apply for permanent residency — often within just 2–3 years of starting work. Germany's shortage of skilled professionals means strong demand for graduates in engineering, IT, healthcare and research.
